| Patient Feedback |
 |
|
“Before coming to Soothe™ Clinic for treatment, I had been suffering constant lower-back pain for several months. My Osteopath’s holistic approach to the problem, including therapy, explanations of how the back works and advice about the way I move and work, has cured the pain and I can now live more normal life. I can't recommend Soothe™ Clinic’s approach enough.” |

| Position of the month |
Ok fess up, who forgot to do their exercises since they last saw us?
We understand. Given the choice of a glass of wine & relaxing on the sofa with friends or family, or getting on the floor and doing those important stretches, the Vino wins every time.
So here's a gentle reminder that your back/neck /shoulder pain can be dramatically reduced by doing a couple of stretches a day. Even just 3 minutes a day can make such a difference to your pain levels, so what are you waiting for?

 |
 |
| ‘The Sumo’ |
 |
Time Required: 60 seconds |
| Helps Relieve: Tension between the shoulder blades |
| Ideal for: Anyone who works at a desk |
| Anyone who claims not to have been given this stretch clearly isn't Cobys' patient - blame Cyril he should have given it to you - not that you would have done it anyway...hey ho... |

| Health detective story of the month |
| ‘The Cabbage Poultice’ also known as a 'chlorophyll plaster'- the magic of nature |
 |
 |
| A really effective technique that many of our patients swear by is the Cabbage Poultice. The cabbage has anti-inflammatory properties that
reduce inflammation in joints
as well as encouraging local circulation thus relieving lymphatic congestion and reducing inflammation... |

| Product of the month |
| ‘Barley Grass anti-inflammatory drink’ |
 |
 |
|
There is a product called barley grass, that we recommend to everyone we meet. It comes as a powder. You place just a teaspoon of dried Barley grass in juice or water each day. Drinking this has an all-over body anti-inflammatory effect and can help ease the pain of inflammation in all your joints.
The side effects of drinking Barley grass are: Improved digestion, generalized body detox, weight loss, improved concentration (not bad huh).
We have got 6 tubs (worth £8.49 each) to give away to the first 6 readers who reply to YesPlease@sootheclinic.com, so lets hope you've got Push E-mail or a Blackberry! |

| ‘10% off a Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage’ |
 |
This month we are offering a 10% discount on Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massages with the rather fabulous Sobat Dinn.
Why? Because we are in the business of education!.
We realise that many millions of people on the planet are not aware of the absolute importance of massage for basic health and well being. Massage has been used for thousands of years to promote health, by keeping the muscles drained of toxins, the organs supplied with oxygen and nutrients, and avoiding the general stagnation of fluids in the body that can result in aches, pains and ill health. It’s the difference between a stagnant smelly puddle of muddy water, and a cool rushing stream. So what are you waiting for? Get yourself booked in!
Call 0161 8346118 to book your Massage - and remember to quote "intouch M01" to get your 10% discount! |
